Our school, established in 1959
is in Lavington, a northern suburb of Albury which is situated on the Murray
River.
The success of our school is
built around the people within it. The happiness and development of the students
at Lavington East Public School are a reflection of the partnership between
parents, teachers and students.
LEPS, as we are affectionately known
could stand for:-
Learning in a cooperative,
challenging environment meeting the needs and interests of all our students and
providing an equal opportunity for all.
Effective and
open communication between all members of our school community.
Pride in oneself,
ones school and our community, together with tolerance and respect, gives us a
positive school image.
Skills, knowledge
and attitude provide the structure for independent growth.
